OUR STORY
Anchored By Grace Outreach was founded on one belief — that the message of Jesus Christ is the greatest source of healing and hope, and that we can get this message to people both locally and globally. What began as small digital encouragements has grown into a global ministry sharing stories, prayer, teaching, and testimonies. We’ve seen God meet people in living rooms and live streams, hospital rooms, comment sections, and even restaurants — transforming lives, shaping destinies, and releasing purpose through fresh encounters with Holy Spirit.
OUR MISSION
Anchored By Grace Outreach is a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to bringing healing, hope, and freedom through the grace of Jesus Christ. We reach people worldwide through faith-based media, short-form videos, testimonies, and prayer online, while also serving locally with practical support, community outreach, and resources that meet real needs. Our vision is to see people healed, lives transformed, and communities fortified as people begin to live in light of God’s unshakable love and grace.

Meet The Founder
Meet The Founder
Minister Barbara Shirkey
Barbara serves on staff at King’s Dallas and Awakening Church, Ohio, carrying over three decades of ministry experience since coming to Christ at King’s Lahaina, Maui, in 1987. Known for her compassion and bold faith, Barbara has a heart for healing, discipleship, and equipping others to walk in their God-given purpose.
She is a licensed Minister with Christian International Apostolic Network (CIAN) and King’s Commission International and has ministered across the U.S. and abroad — including Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Korea, Kenya, the Philippines, and Neah Bay — through partnerships with King’s Cathedral, Christian International Ministries, Gateway Church, Youth With A Mission, and Teen Challenge Maui.
In 2016, Barbara graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Alongside full-time ministry, she’s built a successful career in retail leadership, management, and training — bringing excellence, integrity, and a heart for people into every environment she serves.
